SolidGenius Series

SolidGenius is a new addition to the hardwood flooring industry. It is engineered hardwood flooring with 19mm (3/4") tick, composed of real 4mm (5/32") hardwood top layer, on a 15mm (19/32") plywood strip comprising eleven layers of Baltic birch. Due to its added thickness, it may be sanded repeatedly, just like solid hardwood flooring, but without the extra price. SolidGenius is particularly environment friendly, as all glue involved in its manufacturing does not generate any Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), wich makes it meet, and exceed, the high CARB II standards, and can also qualify you for LEED credits.

This hardwood flooring can be installed directly on concrete; like the Engenius Series of hardwood flooring, SolidGenius uses a precision 'tongue-and-groove' cut and system, making it a breeze to have perfectly adjusted strips. Usually used for Condos, Apartments, Cottages and Commercial applications. SolidGenius hardwood flooring can be nailed, stapled, or glued.

The SolidGenius series' hardwood flooring is coated by SIGMA, a protective resin that provides superb UV resistance, extraordinary smoothness and clarity, antibacterial protection, and exceptional wear resistance and durability. Available gloss level of 40 degrees (Semi-Gloss).
